This policy explains how Axidus LLC (“Axidus”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you visit axidus.ai, contact us, or work with us as a client. If you don’t agree with it, please don’t use the site.
1. Who we are
Axidus LLC is a web design and marketing agency based in New Jersey, United States. We design and build websites and online stores and help businesses get found through search, ads and marketplaces. You can reach us about privacy at legal@axidus.ai.
2. What we collect
When you contact us
Our project form asks for your name, email, your website (if you have one), what you need help with, a rough budget and a message. We receive it by email. If you email us directly, we keep that conversation too.
When you visit the site
- Analytics. With your consent where required, Google Analytics records anonymous information such as pages viewed, how you arrived, your approximate region, browser and device type. We don’t enable advertising features or Google Signals.
- Logs and security. Our host keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, time, page) for a short time. We also use your IP address briefly to rate-limit forms and stop spam.
- Errors. If something breaks, we record technical details (the page, browser and error) to fix it, without form contents or your IP address.
When you work with us
Clients share what a project needs: contact details, business information, content, photos, brand files and sometimes access to accounts such as a website platform, domain, Google or ad accounts. See Client projects for how we handle it.
If you have an account
Some clients and team members get an account to work with us online. For those we keep an email address, a securely hashed password or a Google sign-in, and basic account settings.
3. How we use it
- To reply to you, quote your project and do the work you hire us for
- To send invoices, updates and reports about your project
- To understand how people use our site so we can improve it
- To keep the site, forms and accounts secure and free of spam
- To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations
We don’t sell personal information, we don’t share it for advertising, and we don’t use it to train AI models.
4. Client projects
Information and access you give us for a project are used only for that project. We work on your accounts with the access you grant, and you can remove it at any time. We use tools, including AI tools, to help with research, drafts and repetitive tasks; we don’t put your private information into tools that use it to train their models. When a project ends, we return or delete what you ask us to, and keep only what we need for our records.
When we build a website for you, you are responsible for that site’s own privacy policy and how it collects your customers’ data. We’re happy to help you set it up.
5. Contacting businesses
We sometimes reach out to businesses we think we could help. To do that we use publicly available business information, such as a business’s name, website, phone number and published email address, and its public Google listing. Every message we send says who we are and how to stop hearing from us, and we honor opt-out requests promptly. To be removed, reply to any message or email hello@axidus.ai.
6. Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf and only for these purposes:
| Vercel | Hosts this website and keeps short-lived request logs. |
|---|---|
| Resend | Delivers the emails sent from our project form and account emails. |
| Cloudflare Turnstile | Checks that form submissions come from people, not bots. It doesn't set tracking cookies. |
| Upstash | Short-lived rate limits on forms and sign-in, to stop abuse. |
| Google Analytics 4 | Anonymous, aggregate visit statistics, only with your consent where the law requires it. |
| Sentry | Error reports so we can fix problems. Personal data capture and session replay are off. |
| Supabase | Database and sign-in for client and team accounts. |
| Google (sign-in and Places) | Sign in with Google, if you choose it, and public business listings we use to find businesses to contact. |
| Polar | Payment processing, if you pay us through it. Polar is the merchant of record for those payments. |
We may also share information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone’s safety, with your permission, or as part of a merger or sale of our business (in which case we’ll tell you).
Most of these providers are in the United States. If you’re outside the US, your information will be processed there, under the safeguards the law requires.
7. Cookies and analytics
- Essential. If you sign in to an account, a cookie keeps you signed in.
- Analytics. Google Analytics sets cookies (
_ga,_ga_*) to count visits. Where consent is required, such as in the EU, UK and Switzerland, they don’t load unless you accept on our cookie banner, and you can change your choice any time. - Your choices. Your cookie choice is remembered in your browser so we don’t ask on every visit. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
8. How long we keep it
- Inquiries: up to two years after our last conversation, unless you become a client
- Client records: for as long as we work together, then as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal reasons (typically seven years for invoices)
- Accounts: until you ask us to delete them, then removed within 30 days
- Server logs: typically 30 days
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to see, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, to object to or limit how we use it, and to withdraw consent. California residents have these rights under the CCPA, and we don’t sell or share personal information as that law defines it. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a request, email legal@axidus.aiwith “Privacy request” in the subject. We’ll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm who you are first.
10. Security
We use encryption in transit, secure passwords and two-step sign-in where available, and give access only to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but if a breach affects your information, we’ll tell you and the authorities as the law requires. To report a security issue, email security@axidus.ai.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses, not children. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you think a child has sent us information, email legal@axidus.aiand we’ll delete it.
12. Changes
We’ll update this policy when our practices change and change the date at the top. For significant changes, we’ll let clients know directly.
